Shipping & Return
We ship Rawat's Farm A2 Vedic Bilona Ghee carefully packaged from our home in Jaipur, Rajasthan, to homes across India. This Shipping Policy explains delivery times, charges, areas served, and what happens if something goes wrong in transit.
1. Where We Ship
We currently ship across all serviceable pin codes in India through trusted courier partners.
- Domestic (India): Yes, all major cities and most towns
- International: Not at the moment. We are working on it and will announce when international shipping becomes available
If your pin code is not serviceable, you will see a notification at checkout. Drop us a message at hello@rawatghee.com and we will try to find a way.
2. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, if applicable, are calculated and shown at checkout before you place your order.
3. Delivery Times
Our delivery timelines, counted from the date of dispatch (not the date of order):

Order processing time: Orders placed before 2 PM IST are typically processed and dispatched the same day or the next working day. Orders on Sundays and public holidays are processed the following working day.
These are estimated timelines based on courier performance. Actual times may vary due to factors beyond our control (weather, courier issues, regional disruptions, festive load, etc.).
4. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:
- An email with your tracking number and courier details
- An SMS / WhatsApp message with the same details
- A direct tracking link to follow your parcel in real time
You can also track your order anytime by logging into your account at rawatghee.com or replying to our WhatsApp number.
If you do not receive a tracking update within 48 hours of order confirmation, please write to us at hello@rawatghee.com.
5. Our Courier Partners
We ship via reputed courier partners including:
- Delhivery
- Bluedart
- DTDC
- Ecom Express
- Shiprocket (for some pin codes)
- India Post (for remote areas)
The specific courier assigned depends on your pin code and the size of your order. We choose partners based on speed, reliability, and care in handling our perishable food parcels.
6. Packaging
Because ghee is a precious, fragile, food-grade product, we package every order with care:
- Glass jars are wrapped individually in bubble wrap and shock-absorbent foam
- Sealed in food-safe inner packaging to prevent any leak risk
- Packed in double-walled corrugated cardboard cartons
- Sealed with our tamper-evident branded tape
- "Fragile" and "This Side Up" labels prominently marked
In hot months (May to September), we use additional thermal liners to minimise direct sun exposure during transit.
7. Cash on Delivery (COD)
Cash on Delivery is available on most pin codes for orders up to ₹3,000:
- Additional COD handling fee: ₹49
- Available only at serviceable pin codes (you will see the option at checkout if available)
- Please pay in exact cash to the delivery partner — they may not always carry change
- COD orders may take 1 extra working day to dispatch (verification call)
For orders above ₹3,000, we accept prepaid orders only.
8. Address Accuracy
Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate at checkout. We need:
- Full name
- Complete address with house/flat number, building name, street, landmark
- City, state, and 6-digit pin code
- A working mobile number (the courier will call you)
- Optionally, an alternate number
We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect addresses. If a parcel is returned to us due to address issues, we will contact you to either reship (you pay re-shipping charges) or refund (minus the original shipping cost).
9. If You Are Not Available at Delivery
Most courier partners attempt delivery 2 to 3 times before returning the parcel:
- They will call you on the registered mobile number
- You can reschedule with the courier directly using the tracking link
- For COD orders, please ensure someone is available to receive and pay
If a parcel is returned due to repeated failed delivery attempts:
- For prepaid orders: you can request a re-ship by paying the additional shipping charge, or get a refund minus original shipping cost
- For COD orders: we may ask you to switch to prepaid for the re-ship
10. Damaged or Lost Parcels
We pack carefully, but rarely things go wrong in transit. Please:
- Inspect the parcel at the time of delivery if possible
- If the outer carton looks visibly damaged, please mark "Received in Damaged Condition" with the courier or take a video before opening
- Photograph any damage to the outer box and the product before unpacking fully
- Email or WhatsApp us within 48 hours of delivery with photos/video
We will arrange a free replacement or refund as per our Refund Policy.
For lost parcels:
- If your tracking shows no movement for 7 days or your parcel is marked as "delivered" but you did not receive it, please contact us within 48 hours
- We will file a complaint with the courier and resolve within 7–14 working days
11. International Shipping
We do not currently ship outside India. If you are abroad and would like Rawat's Farm ghee:
- Ask a friend or family member in India to place the order on your behalf
- Some Indian courier services (DHL, FedEx) accept consolidated personal shipments — you can use them at your own arrangement
- Subscribe to our newsletter or follow @rawatghee on Instagram for updates on international shipping launches
12. Festive Season Disruptions
During major festivals (Diwali, Holi, Raksha Bandhan, etc.) and around national holidays:
- Courier networks experience higher volumes
- Delivery may take 1–3 extra days
- We do our best to dispatch on time, but please plan ahead for gifting orders
- Closer to festival days, we may temporarily suspend express shipping
We always announce festive cut-off dates on our website banner and Instagram. Watch out for them around 7–10 days before major festivals.
13. Bulk and Wholesale Shipping
For bulk orders (10+ kg), corporate gifting, or wholesale enquiries:
- Custom shipping quotes apply based on weight and location
- We can ship via dedicated transport for very large orders

14. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, cyclones)
- Government actions (lockdowns, restrictions)
- Courier strikes or disruptions
- Civil unrest
- Internet, power, or system outages
- Pandemic-related restrictions
In such cases, we will keep you informed and offer rescheduled dispatch or full refund as you prefer.
